San Ramon sits in beautiful Contra Costa County, about 34 miles east of San Francisco. There are different loops allowing visitors to choose the length and difficulty of their adventure. Antique car buffs will enjoy the Blackhawk Automotive Museum, where more than ninety classic cars await, as well as other car artifacts and memorabilia.
Iron Horse Trail is a rail-trail that once was a railroad line through the East Bay area. Now the multi-use trail is open to bikers, hikers, and horseback riders. This beautiful path includes a scenic old railway bridge over Walnut Creek and is upkept for wheelchair accessibility, offering fun for all.
